Enjoy Movies This Holiday Season
Last year at River North Law Group, we took a look at the most popular board games for festive family fun at home during the holidays. Many of us were still limiting travel and recreation because of the lingering effects of the pandemic, and taking precautions at home.
This year, however, is different. As cases have eased, holiday events have seen record turnout signaling a return to our favorite activities. Among these favorite is moviegoing. Parking lots are packed once again, you might stand in line to see a highly anticipated movie like Top Gun: Maverick, and box office receipts have rebounded back to pre-pandemic levels. The filmmaking industry was among those hardest hit by restrictions of the past 3 years. Many independent theaters didn’t survive. Today, going to the movies isn’t just a psychological boost for shut-down fatigued families, it's a desperately needed infusion of revenue for a struggling international industry.
Happy Holidays!
At River North Law Group, we’re wishing you happiness this Holiday Season. Throughout 2022 we’ve worked hard to give our clients peace of mind in their cases. We appreciate your kind Google reviews, and your testimonials to the results of our work. To help you celebrate the season, we’re offering stellar movie recommendations in three ways.
First, we take a look at a short preview of upcoming Christmas movies new in 2022. Next, we’ll list the top grossing Christmas movies of all time for your consideration as repeat viewing or discovery. Finally, we’ll list the top 10 movies by popularity according to Entertainment Weekly and IMDB. You may want to watch your favorite again, or be surprised to find a movie you’ve never seen. Either way, adding a movie feature to your holiday activities, either at home or at your local theater, might be the perfect way to reconnect and celebrate the season.
